Achieving Equity – How Finance Professionals Can Drive Change in D&I

Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. ET

Finance Professionals recognize the strong link between inclusion and organizational success. As leaders in our organizations, we are well positioned to influence corporate culture and people’s behaviour… So why aren’t we doing it?

According to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants’ (ACCA) latest research in Leading Inclusion, most do not know where to start.

Please join the author of the Leading Inclusion report, Clive Webb, Senior Professional Insights Manager at ACCA, as ACCA will discuss the valuable role we can play in advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

During this one-hour session, they will:

  • Define diversity, inclusion, and equity, and how the profession embraces these values, as we understand it today.
  • Examine the impact of the pandemic and the opportunities and challenges that are emerging as a result.
  • Learn what we as finance professionals can do, including recommended actions that can be taken at the organizational level, and individually.

To help illustrate the role we can play, ACCA will be joined by ACCA Members, Alex Alifa, Manager, PwC Canada, and Lisa Maenpaa, Financial Officer, Library Office, University of Waterloo, who will be providing their insights and experiences.

Join them for this complimentary webinar, download the “Leading Inclusion” report, and consider the action that you could take for diversity and inclusion.
