Webinar Highlights

This will include information on both the international actors and standards being developed and how they work together to establish the best-practice standards being adopted in Canada. For example, the impact on the Enhanced Disability Management Program (EDMP) in British Columbia’s Health Care Sector. This was a landmark restructuring of RTW involving 4 unions and more than 200 employers ranging from small and medium, to very large organizations. Major Canadian social security organizations such as the Ontario Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) have recently embarked on a major initiative to upskill a significant number of their staff to the International Social Security Association (ISSA) recommended professional competency standards in Disability Management as well.

The information being presented in this webinar would be useful for Canadian RTW and DM professionals who want to learn more about best-practice standards and their implementation.
